I introduced Prysm iO because I didn’t want to be someone who just delivers treatments. I wanted to actually understand what’s going on beneath the surface with each client, and help them understand it too.

Honestly, the biggest shift has been in the conversations I’m now having. Instead of guessing or going on instinct, I’ve got real data to point to, so clients can see what I’m seeing. It’s changed the dynamic completely, they’re more engaged, they ask better questions, and they trust the recommendations because they understand the “why” behind them.

Skin health stops being abstract and becomes something they feel genuinely invested in.

If you’re a practitioner who wants your consultations to mean more, not just another add on, but something that actually deepens the relationship with your clients, I’d genuinely encourage you to look into it.

It’s changed the way we approach treatment planning.

I introduced Prysm iO into our clinic because I wanted a better way to understand the wider factors influencing our patients' recovery. That interest was shaped by my own health journey following childbirth and a partial thyroidectomy, which highlighted just how much factors such as sleep, stress, energy levels and overall wellbeing can influence how we feel and function day to day.

As physiotherapists, we naturally focus on pain, movement and function, but we know recovery is rarely that simple. Patients don't recover in isolation from the rest of their lives, and factors such as sleep quality, stress, lifestyle habits and long term health conditions can have a significant impact on outcomes.

One of the things I've found most valuable about Prysm iO is its ability to uncover patterns that might not otherwise emerge during a standard assessment. Patients with inflammatory conditions, persistent pain or poor sleep often score lower in certain areas, which creates an opportunity to explore how those factors may be affecting their symptoms and recovery. What I particularly like is that the data is accessible and easy for both clinicians and patients to understand, without becoming the focus. We're not interested in chasing numbers or becoming fixated on a score. Instead, it provides a starting point for meaningful conversations and helps us identify areas that may be holding someone back from progressing.

It's changed the way we approach treatment planning. We're having broader conversations about health, recovery and wellbeing, helping patients understand the connection between factors such as sleep, stress, activity levels and pain. When patients can see the bigger picture, they often become more engaged in their own recovery and more motivated to make sustainable changes.

We've noticed improvements in patient engagement and adherence to treatment recommendations, particularly when patients can track and reflect on aspects of their wellbeing that influence their recovery. It also provides a structured framework for discussing lifestyle factors that can sometimes be overlooked but are often central to achieving better outcomes.

From a business perspective, Prysm iO has allowed us to expand our offering beyond traditional physiotherapy treatments. It has created opportunities for ongoing support and recurring revenue while strengthening patient retention and long term engagement.

More importantly, it has enabled us to deliver greater value by supporting patients' overall health and wellbeing, rather than focusing solely on a specific injury or episode of pain.

I'd encourage other physiotherapists to consider Prysm iO because it helps bridge the gap between treating symptoms and supporting long term health. It brings together objective insights and clinical reasoning in a way that enhances conversations, supports patient engagement and ultimately helps us provide more holistic, person centred care.

As practitioners, we often ask clients to trust the process. Prysm iO allows them to see the process unfolding.

I've always believed in testing rather than guessing. Functional testing has always been a big part of how I work because I want clients to understand what is happening in their bodies rather than relying on assumptions.

What interested me about Prysm iO was that it gave me a way to bring that same principle into everyday lifestyle habits. Instead of only testing at certain points in a programme, I could now give clients an objective marker they could track regularly and use as part of an ongoing conversation around nutrition, antioxidants, oxidative stress and long term health.

It felt like a natural extension of the way I already work, using data to create more awareness, more ownership and better decision making around health.

The conversations have shifted from simply talking about what clients should do to celebrating what their bodies are actually responding to.

Rather than relying solely on symptoms, we can now have meaningful discussions around progress, resilience and long term health. It has also opened the door to talking much more about antioxidants, oxidative stress and longevity, topics that many clients have never previously considered but become incredibly engaged with once they understand them.

The focus becomes less about perfection and more about continually improving their score through sustainable lifestyle habits.

Clients love having something objective to measure, particularly when they're making changes that don't always produce immediate visible results.

It creates excitement, curiosity and accountability. They become much more engaged in the process because they're no longer guessing whether their efforts are working, they can actually see progress over time.

I've also found it encourages greater consistency. Rather than chasing the next health trend, clients become motivated to keep showing up with the fundamentals because they can see that those small daily choices genuinely influence their score.

Prysm iO has become a core part of The Radiance Membership, where members scan regularly alongside monthly coaching, education and accountability.

The scanner provides objective feedback, while the coaching helps members understand how to improve that score through nutrition, lifestyle and sustainable behaviour change. Together, they create a powerful combination of education, action and measurable progress.

More broadly, Prysm iO has allowed me to shift the conversation beyond simply managing symptoms. We're talking much more about prevention, resilience, healthspan and longevity, helping women understand how the choices they make today can influence their health for decades to come. That is something I am very passionate about.

Prysm iO helps bridge the gap between education and behaviour change. It gives clients a tangible way of seeing the impact of their nutrition and lifestyle choices, making healthy habits feel more rewarding and measurable.

As practitioners, we often ask clients to trust the process. Prysm iO allows them to see the process unfolding.

It's simple to use, highly engaging and brings an entirely new level of motivation and accountability to lifestyle medicine.

For me, it's become far more than a measurement tool. It's a catalyst for better conversations, greater engagement and lasting behaviour change and that's incredibly exciting as a practitioner.

…which has also brought in a recurring monthly income stream I didn’t have before.

MW Fitness
Online strength, nutrition and lifestyle coaching for women over 40

I'd been coaching women through fat loss, strength and hormonal changes for years, but I kept noticing the same gap, my clients could see the scales moving or feel stronger, but there was no way to show them what was happening underneath all of that. Clients had also always asked me what supplements they should be taking, and honestly, the best I could do was share what I personally took and recommend it from my own experience. Prysm iO changed that, for the first time I actually have proof that what we're doing is working, not just a personal recommendation. It felt like the missing piece that tied everything I already teach, nutrition, movement, consistency, into one bigger picture of health, not just weight.

Everything I do is about lifestyle change and building habits that last, and Prysm iO has become part of that, it drives real behaviour change, and not just for my clients individually. I've seen it bring whole families along with it, because everyone wants to see their score improve. I now include their Prysm iO scores in my clients weekly check ins, this week one of my clients scores had improved from 390 to 950

Clients are more consistent with the basics, protein, hydration, sleep, because they can see the score respond to those habits. It's been brilliant for motivation on the weeks when the scales aren't moving but everything else is going right.

It's added a layer to my offer that clients genuinely value and talk about, it's become part of what makes MW Fitness different from a standard coaching programme. Rather than clients wandering into Holland & Barrett clueless about what they actually need, they're now getting their supplements directly through me, tailored to what their results are showing, which has also brought in a recurring monthly income stream I didn't have before. I'd actually been considering adding blood work testing into my offering, but Prysm iO has made that a bit of a no brainer instead, it's so much more reasonable and accessible, and it means the whole family can use it, not just the person doing the testing. It's also opened doors to conversations with other practitioners and clinics locally, which isn't something I expected when I started.

Because it gives you proof you can actually show someone, in real time, rather than just telling them to trust the process. In a market full of noise and quick fixes, having something tangible that reflects genuine internal health has made my coaching feel more credible, and it's reignited my own excitement about what I do.
